The Orlando Magic have introduced again a well-recognized face for the season’s ultimate stretch.
The Magic signed Devin Cannady to a 10-day contract late Thursday night from their G League crew, the Lakeland Magic, forward of their Friday dwelling recreation towards the Toronto Raptors.
This would be the second stint in Orlando for Cannady, who’ll put on No. 30 and occupy the Magic’s fifteenth and ultimate commonplace roster spot during his deal.
Jeff Dowtin’s 10-day contract ended Thursday.
The Magic’s season will finish with a house matchup towards the Miami Warmth on April 10.
Cannady signed a 10-day cope with Orlando on April 6, 2021, earlier than signing a two-way contract 10 days later. He averaged 4.3 in 9.3 minutes in eight video games earlier than struggling an open fracture of his proper ankle towards the Indiana Pacers later that month.

Cannady performed in 13 video games (9 begins) with Lakeland final season earlier than becoming a member of the Magic, averaging 11.7 factors and capturing 40% on 3s.
He recorded 22 factors, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and was named the G League Last MVP in Lakeland’s 2021 championship-clinching win over the Delaware Blue Coats.
Cannady, who went undrafted out of Princeton in 2019, has averaged 14.1 factors on 38.7% capturing from 3 in 66 G League video games (46 begins) with the Lengthy Island Nets and Lakeland.
He’s the seventh Lakeland participant to be referred to as as much as an NBA roster this season together with Dowtin, Admiral Schofield, Hassani Gravett, Aleem Ford, BJ Johnson and Jon Teske.
