Joel Bartlett, the previous longtime meteorologist for Bay Space tv stations KPIX and KGO-TV for greater than three a long time, died late Thursday night at his ranch in Sonoma County. He was 81 when he died, surrounded by household and associates and all the animals he liked.
Bartlett was a well-recognized face to hundreds of thousands of Bay Space tv viewers, showing on KPIX from 1974 to 1989. That 12 months, he left the station to affix KGO-TV, the place he remained till he retired, at age 65, in 2006.
