Bicyclist in critical condition after Oakland hit-and-run

OAKLAND — A success-and-run visitors collision in East Oakland Thursday afternoon left a bicyclist in vital situation and police looking for the motive force of the SUV that struck him, authorities mentioned.

The collision occurred about 4:10 p.m. Thursday on the intersection of East fifteenth Road and Eighth Avenue.

Police mentioned the 38-year-old bicyclist, an Oakland resident whose title was not launched, was using eastbound on East fifteenth Road in a devoted bicycle lane when he entered the intersection at Eighth Avenue on a inexperienced mild. He was then struck by a white Cadillac Escalade that was going southbound on Eighth Avenue that didn't cease for a purple mild, police mentioned.
