Belmont: Arrest made in shooting near Carlmont High School

BELMONT – A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in reference to a non-injury taking pictures close to Carlmont Excessive Faculty final week, police stated.

The taking pictures was reported round 2 p.m. Friday on the 2100 block of Valerga Drive.

On Saturday night time, the boy was arrested and booked into Hillcrest Juvenile Corridor on fees of discharging a firearm into an inhabited dwelling, assault with a firearm, carrying a hid firearm in a car and possessing a firearm with an altered serial quantity.

The campus was locked down following the taking pictures. As of Monday, investigators had not discovered any connection between the taking pictures and the varsity, in accordance with police.
