Hillsdale softball participant Claire Shelton has been named Bay Space Information Group ladies highschool athlete of the week for March 21-27 after receiving 13,012 votes (29.57%) by the deadline at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Archbishop Mitty softball participant Corri Hicks (27.80%) completed second and Wilcox softball participant Lalia Lopez (22.71%) took third.

Shelton, a sophomore shortstop, hit two doubles and had 4 RBIs as Hillsdale shocked Tenth-ranked and beforehand unbeaten Capuchino 10-6. Her first double helped the Combating Knights take a 4-1 lead and so they by no means trailed after that.
