OAKLAND — Practically three weeks after she went lacking, authorities say an Oakland girl with dementia has been situated.
Maria Mooney, 79, had been lacking since Feb. 15, and her daughter Martha Mooney provided a $2,000 reward to anybody who had data to assist discover her mom.
“Thanks to our neighborhood and media companions, Maria Mooney is now not a lacking individual.
She has been situated,” the Oakland Police Division mentioned in a tweet Monday.
Oakland police officers on Monday afternoon declined to reply questions on how Mooney was situated or her present situation.
The household of Mooney instructed police that she had been situated, Paul Chambers, a police spokesperson mentioned Monday. Chambers mentioned he couldn’t supply every other data.
