An unoccupied dwelling on a steep Fairfax hillside collapsed early Tuesday.
The home at 195 Pine Drive was underneath development, Ross Valley Fireplace Division Battalion Chief Gavin Illingworth stated. There have been no accidents.
Illingworth stated firefighters was known as to the property at 3:48 a.m. after a neighbor who reported the construction’s collapse stated they heard a thunderous sound, appeared out and noticed the harm.
The constructing collapse follows a spate of rain that handed via the Bay Space Sunday and Monday. Fairfax acquired roughly 1.69 inches of precipitation over the earlier 48 hours, in response to the Nationwide Climate Service.
