ORINDA — Authorities mentioned a lady died Monday after being hit by a BART practice on the Orinda station.
Firefighters responded about 4:40 p.m. Monday to the Orinda station after studies of an emergency involving an individual beneath a practice on the trackway. Authorities declared her lifeless on the scene.
BART officers cleared the platform of riders and closed the station at 4:50 p.m., officers mentioned. Trains had been run on a single observe by means of the station with out stopping in the course of the investigation. The station was reopened to the general public round 7:30 p.m.
