San Jose: Motorcyclist dies in crash on Highway 101

SAN JOSE — A person on a bike died in a crash early Friday morning on Freeway 101, in line with California Freeway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 1:13 a.m. on southbound 101 within the space of Freeway 87, mentioned CHP officer Ross Lee.

A 47-year-old man from San Jose on a 2008 Harley Davidson misplaced management of the motorbike and collided with the middle median on the freeway, Lee mentioned. A 40-year-old feminine passenger mentioned he had been touring “at a excessive fee of velocity.”

Each had been ejected from the motorbike and fell onto the roadway, in line with police. The person was pronounced died after emergency personnel arrived on scene.

The girl had “vital accidents” from the crash and was taken to a hospital.
