Welcome to the Bay Space Information Group (Mercury Information & East Bay Occasions) women athlete of the week ballot.

For the complete educational 12 months, we are going to present an inventory of candidates who stood out over the earlier week and permit you, the reader, to vote for the winner.

This week, we take into account performances from Feb. 7-13.

On to the nominees:

Melesungu Afeaki, Capuchino basketball: The 6-2 ahead scored 64 factors, had 43 rebounds and added seven assists in a 3-0 week for the Mustangs. Averaging a double-double with 18.2 factors and 12.2 rebounds per sport. Senior will proceed her profession on the College of San Diego.

Nevaeh Asiasi, Salesian basketball: The 5-7 senior had 32 factors, added six steals as Delight had a 2-0 week en path to the TCAL-Rock Division title. She is second on the workforce in scoring and rebounding and leads in assists and steals. Salesian (15-4) is the No. 2 seed within the NCS Open Division.

Rylan Cashman, Fremont-Sunnyvale soccer: Freshman had 4 targets and two assists in victories over Milpitas and Monta Vista. She had a hat trick towards Milpitas. She leads the workforce in scoring with 49 factors (20 targets, 9 assists). Firebirds are 14-2-3 for the season.

Morgan Cheli, Mitty basketball: The 6-2 guard tallied 18 factors and had seven rebounds because the Monarchs beat St. Ignatius to wrap up the WCAL title. Leads workforce in scoring, rebounding and steals. Rated the highest sophomore school prospect within the Bay Space by NorCal Preps. Has a Cal provide.  

Alli Dioli, Half Moon Bay basketball: The 5-8 junior led Cougars to PAL-North title with 13 factors and 12 boards towards South San Francisco, and 12 factors, 4 assists and three steals versus Terra Nova. She already has over 1,000 factors in her profession. HMB is unbeaten in league play.

Annaliese Giusto, Carondelet soccer: Cal-bound senior scored three targets in win over California to assist Cougars earn No. 2 seed in NCS-Div. I match. The midfielder leads Carondelet (16-1-2) with 13 targets, eight assists. A Prime Drawer Soccer three-star recruit.

Lisimani Helu, San Mateo soccer: Senior defender scored six targets throughout a 3-0 week that ran Bearcats’ document to 14-1-1 general and 8-0-0 in PAL-Lake. Scored two targets in every sport. Has 19 targets and 7 assists for the season.

Lexie Lipary, Alhambra basketball: The 5-6 level guard led Bulldogs with 17 factors in a 55-47 victory over Acalanes that broke Dons’ 19-game win streak. Had 12 factors in a win over Campolindo. Group co-captain and assists chief. Alhambra completed 20-6. Seeded sixth in NCS-Div. III playoffs.

Amanda Muse, Heritage basketball: The 6-3 junior put up scored 21 factors with 12 rebounds, eight blocked pictures in BVAL title sport win over Freedom. Had 54 factors, 33 rebounds throughout 3-0 week. Averaging 17.3 factors, 10 rebounds, 4.2 blocks per sport. ESPN four-star recruit.

Anna Schremp, Gunn soccer: Colgate-bound ahead had 5 targets and an help throughout a 3-0 week for the Titans. Leads workforce with 15 targets and 33 whole factors. Was SCVAL-El Camino MVP as a sophomore. Former hockey participant.
