MILPITAS — A forty five-year-old man booked into county jail on a number of expenses died Sunday after falling unconscious whereas in custody, authorities mentioned.
In response to a press release Monday night, Milpitas police booked the person into jail Saturday on suspicion of possession of a stolen car, residential housebreaking and petty theft with priors.
However at 8:51 p.m. Sunday, deputies at Elmwood county jail responded to an emergency button alert from the person’s cellmate and located him unresponsive.
Deputies supplied emergency life-saving measures till county emergency medical providers workers took him to a hospital at 9:24 p.m., the place medical workers pronounced him useless at 9:54 p.m. There have been no apparent indicators of foul play, the sheriff’s assertion mentioned.
