Man shot, wounded in both legs in Oakland

OAKLAND — A 41-year-old man was shot Monday morning within the Capsule Hill space, authorities mentioned.

The person was in secure situation at a hospital with wounds to each legs, authorities mentioned.

The person was shot about 9 a.m. within the 500 block of thirty first Road, a residential space west of Telegraph Avenue just under Interstate 980.

The person was shot by one other man, presumably in a dispute over a car, authorities mentioned.  The suspect  fled in a car earlier than police received on scene. An in depth description of the shooter was not launched.

Officers discovered the wounded man in the course of the road and offered emergency first support to him till paramedics responded.
