Bicyclist killed in traffic collision south of Livermore is identified

Authorities have recognized the bicyclist killed in a site visitors collision with one other car Sunday afternoon, south of Livermore in a rural space of Santa Clara County.

The girl was recognized as 49-year-old Ellen Le of Fremont, in keeping with the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Workplace.

The crash was reported at 2:34 p.m. and officers arrived on scene at 2:56 p.m., in keeping with CHP Officer Ross Lee. A driver in a 2010 Land Rover SUV was touring south on Mines Street, close to San Antonio Valley Street, whereas Le was touring north on Mines Street.

As the motive force of the Land Rover was navigating a right-to-left curve within the roadway, Le was touring the curve from the opposite route, police mentioned.They each crossed over the stable yellow traces by a pair ft and collided with one another.

Le was ejected and died on the scene, authorities mentioned. She was carrying a helmet on the time and CHP doesn’t consider alcohol or rushing had been elements within the crash. No different accidents had been reported.
