FREMONT — Abode Providers is asking the general public to donate objects to assist hundreds of homeless and low-income residents keep heat throughout the chilly winter climate.

The Fremont nonprofit group, which helps the homeless in Alameda and Santa Clara counties, stated six Bay Space homeless residents have died since Thanksgiving due to chilly in a single day temperatures.
