Women robbed of purses at Stanford Shopping Center

PALO ALTO – Officers have been investigating the armed theft of two ladies Tuesday on the Stanford Purchasing Middle, police mentioned.

The victims, a girl in her 70s and a girl in her 80s, have been eating collectively at True Meals Kitchen at about 2:45 p.m. when a person approached them, displayed a black handgun and demanded their purses, the Palo Alto Police Division mentioned in a information launch.

Police mentioned the victims handed over their purses and heard the suspect’s gun make a “pop” or “click on” noise.
