Vitality Bowls and its acai berries have moved into San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood.
The “superfood” cafe whose menu is constructed on the antioxidant-rich berry has opened its doorways within the Backyard Theater for indoor eating, takeout and supply.
It’s the thirty fourth location in California for the corporate based in 2011 in San Ramon by Tara and Roy Gilad, dad and mom who had been impressed to create a restaurant haven for these, like their daughter, that suffer from meals allergy symptoms.
Topping the menu of fruit-based bowls are the signature Vitality Bowl, with natural acai, strawberries, banana, natural granola and honey, and the favored Dragon Bowl, that includes pitaya, pineapple, coconut milk, goji berries and bee pollen.
For breakfast, contemplate the Morning Glory wrap, with eggs, avocado and veggies, or the Seasonal Oatmeal Bowl or the PB & Chia Jam Toast. There are smoothies and cold-pressed juices too.
The cafe presents a protracted lineup of savory dishes, together with panini, wraps and bowls. The Steak Wrap options grass-fed steak, greens and chimichurri sauce in a tomato-basil tortilla. The Vitality Wrap is a hummus, avocado, grains and lemon tahini quantity.
All of Vitality’s choices are made in non-cross-contamination kitchens, and no synthetic preservatives or added sweeteners are used.
On Lincoln Avenue, Vitality takes over the area that previously housed the Purple Onion Cafe.
