Opinion: Senseless opposition has made the pandemic worse

After two years of pandemic and a resurgence that's not doubtless the final one, the pandemic has taught us that there are two viruses: The coronavirus (with its variants delta, omicron and extra to return) and the opposition virus, stopping us from beating the primary one.

The opposition virus has many variants. The denial variant: The coronavirus doesn't exist, is blown out of proportion, just isn't harmful or just isn't contagious. The liberty variant: From lockdown to masks mandate or vaccinations, all successive public coverage makes an attempt to battle the coronavirus have been towards our freedom. The change aversion variant: Life ought to have gone on as if nothing had occurred. And eventually, maybe the worst, the callousness variant: We don't actually care in regards to the affect the coronavirus has on different folks.

The opposition virus contaminated a sufficiently excessive variety of those who regardless of heroic efforts of so many, it now seems that we should be taught to stay with the coronavirus for years and a long time to return.

I see this as a tragic second. If humanity can’t come collectively and defend itself towards a moderately easy hazard, what are our probabilities towards future, bigger threats?
