OAKLAND — A 50-year-old man was killed Monday morning in a West Oakland visitors collision, authorities mentioned.
He was recognized by the coroner’s workplace as Joseph Bennett III.
The collision occurred about 1:50 a.m. within the 800 block of Frontage Street close to Seventh Road, police mentioned.
Police mentioned Bennett, an Oakland resident, was driving a Ford Explorer southbound on Frontage Street when he crashed into the rear of a trailer that was parked within the heart divider. He was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
