HONOLULU (AP) — Billionaire Fb founder Mark Zuckerberg has bought extra property in Hawaii, together with most of a reservoir that unleashed a lethal flood 15 years in the past.
Property information present Zuckerberg’s Kaloko LLC purchased a 110-acre (44.5-hectare) web site on Kauai final month for $17 million from an organization owned by the Pflueger household, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported.
The acquisition consists of most of a reservoir that flooded in 2006, killing seven individuals, after a bit of a dam burst following 40 days of near-constant rain. James Pflueger was held chargeable for the tragedy for his administration of the dam.
