Two childcare staff in Rancho Cucamonga had been arrested on suspicion of kid abuse after an 8-month-old boy who was of their care went to the hospital with a cranium fracture, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Division stated Friday, Jan. 14.
The boy was taken to the hospital on Sept. 4 with the damage, when investigators had been alerted of the potential bodily abuse, the Sheriff’s Division stated in an announcement. The boy had been attending the Kiddie Academy on Victoria Park Lane.
The 2 staff on the youngster care had been arrested this week on suspicion of concealing the boy’s accidents and neglect, the Sheriff’s Division stated.
Rudie Megan Maldonado, 29, was arrested on Wednesday evening and booked on suspicion of kid abuse and conspiracy. She was launched on $100,000 bail.
Felicia Ann Ferra, 50, of Yorba Linda, turned herself in to authorities on Thursday after an arrest warrant was issued. She was booked on suspicion of kid abuse and conspiracy and launched on bail. The quantity was not accessible.
The boy’s situation following the damage was not disclosed.
