Rosters for the 2022 NFL Pro Bowl were announced on Wednesday, and two players with Utah ties — both in the NFC — were named.

Former Utah State Aggies linebacker and longtime Seattle Seahawks legend Bobby Wagner was named to his ninth consecutive (and ninth overall) postseason showcase, while former Utah Utes kicker Matt Gay of the Los Angeles Rams will make his first career appearance.

Wagner, in his 10th season in the NFL, leads the league in tackles with 158, six ahead of the Atlanta Falcons’ Foyesade Oluokun.

Wagner is just 10 tackles away from setting a new career high for most tackles in a season with three regular season games remaining (the Seahawks are out of the playoff picture).

Gay, in his third season in the NFL, has been the league’s most accurate field goal kicker, as he has made 28 of his 29 attempts, including a perfect 4-for-4 from 50 yards or longer (he is eighth in total attempts).

He has also made 40 of 41 extra point tries (he is sixth in attempts) and is second in kickoffs (85) and tied for sixth in touchbacks (53).

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will set a new NFL record with his 15th career Pro Bowl appearance.

The game is scheduled to be played on Feb. 6 in Las Vegas.

Here are the full rosters.
