The double-engine Sarkar is on an overdrive to put Uttar Pradesh on the runway of growth and glory after opening India's longest expressway, the Purvanchal Expressway, to the public. Today the foundation stone was laid for the new Jewar International Airport. The new international airport, which will be the fourth largest in the world, is slated to be completed in the next 36 months. This will be India's gateway to an exclusive club in which only a few manage to earn their place. Once completed, Uttar Pradesh will be the only state with five international airports. A dream that was conceived in 2001 by the BJP government is taking place today.
